Selena Gomez broke up with Justin Bieber following allegations that he fathered a baby.
Gomez, who has been dating devout Christian Justin Bieber for eight months, was earlier reported by some agencies to have dumped the star. However, her representative has told US Weekly that the rumors are false and that she denies any split.
Radaronline.com had reported that a source told them: “Selena ended it abruptly. She broke the news to Justin just in the past 24 hour. Justin has insisted to Selena that the woman’s allegations are simply not true.”
The source also said: “His camp is in damage control mode and attempting to convince her to stick around in the relationship for a few more weeks, because they fear it will be seen as an admission that something indeed took place between Justin and the woman who is alleging that he’s the father of her baby.”
Bieber has spoken out for the first time today since the allegations emerged. He told the Today Show’s host Matt Lauer, “I would just like to say basically that none of those allegations are true. I know that I'm going to be a target but I'm never going to be a victim.”
He went on to say: “I think it's crazy because every night after the show I'm gone, right from the stage to my car so it's crazy that some people want to make up such false allegations but to set the record straight, none of it is true.”

Selena Gomez: Justin Bieber: baby scandal stay together or breakup?
Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have been going through a rollercoaster of scandal since a 20-year-old woman accused Justin of fathering her baby last year. To make matters worse, an avalanche of reports are emerging that the two teen stars are in the middle of a break up over the baby rumors. According to the very latest Radar Online report, Justin and Selena haven't split.
In an earlier post on the site, a source close to the couple said Selena had dumped him, but that Justin's advisors had urged her to stay with him at least another two weeks until the scandal had passed.
Another source came out saying Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez definitely have not broke up.

Despite Internet reports Friday that Gomez, 19, had called it quits with Justin Bieber, 17, a rep for Gomez tells Us Weekly reports of a split are untrue.
The chatter came just days after a 20-year-old California woman claimed Bieber fathered her 3-month-old son.
"I'd just like to say, basically, that none of those allegations are true," Bieber told Today's Matt Lauer Friday, refuting Mariah Yeater's claim that she met and had sex with the singer backstage at a Los Angeles concert. "I know that I'm going to be a target, but I'm never going to be a victim."
Taking his romance with Gomez public at the Grammys in February, Bieber has never been afraid to show his love for her often -- in very grand ways.

Selena Gomez isn't worried about having to present Justin Bieber with an award at the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs).
The 19-year-old pop star will host the awards ceremony - which will take place on Sunday (06.11.11) in Belfast, Northern Ireland - and insists she will remain professional if her 17-year-old boyfriend, who is to perform at the event, wins a prize.
Asked what she will do if Justin wins and she has to present him with an award in front of the crowd and a worldwide TV audience of millions, Selena said: " It's an awards show which I'm presenting, so I'm sure I'll be fine if I have to present an award to Justin."
Selena is excited about presenting the awards in Belfast as it gives her the opportunity to do some sightseeing as well as check out her favorite acts, though she admits she is worried some of the audience won't know who she is.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I can't wait, it's going to be really awesome. I am quite nervous though, especially because it's the European awards, not many people will be that familiar with who I am so there's even more pressure on me to be a good host.
"We're going to try to come up with really fun skits and my band and I will perform. I'm really wanting to make it be about the artists and people that are nominated, I really overall want to make it a fun show, not too crazy, just stuff that's about the music. I'm really excited to see Coldplay perform though, I think they're going to be phenomenal but there are so many great people nominated that it's going to be an awesome show.
"I'm going to come in for rehearsals so I'm really excited at the thought of spending a couple of days in Ireland and hopefully doing some sightseeing too."

SELENA GOMEZ CREEPSTER FAN PLEADS INNOCENT IN STALKING CASE
The singer has secured a three-year restraining order against 46-year-old Thomas Broadnicki, who today pleaded not guilty in L.A. Superior Court to stalking Gomez and otherwise harassing her since July. Broadnicki's bail was upped to $150,000 and a preliminary hearing was set for Nov. 16. He's facing a possible three years in state prison if convicted of felony stalking.
Gomez has stated via her attorney that she has never met the accused, but that she was told he traveled from Chicago to L.A. to meet her and that he claimed he conversed with God about harming the 19-year-old.
